About Sigaram

A women-owned staffing firm built by technologists.

We started Sigaram because hiring great engineers had become a keyword-matching exercise — and we knew there was a better way.

Our story

Hiring, the way we'd want to be hired

Sigaram LLC was founded in Maryland with a simple frustration: too many hiring processes filter people through portals and parsers, while real engineering judgment — the thing that actually predicts success — never gets evaluated.

So we built the firm we wished existed. Every candidate we present has been through technical conversation with people who've built production systems themselves. We send a shortlist of the right five, not a spreadsheet of fifty.

We're a women-owned startup, founder-led and deliberately small — which means every client gets senior attention, honest timelines, and a partner who's personally invested in every placement.

The name Sigaram (சிகரம்) means "peak" or "summit" in Tamil — the standard we hold every placement to.

What we believe

Values that show up in the work

Craft over volume

Five right candidates beat fifty maybes. We'd rather tell you a search needs more time than flood you with resumes.

Honesty first

If a role is hard to fill, if a timeline is unrealistic, if we're not the right firm for it — you'll hear it from us directly, and early.

Diversity as strength

As a women-owned business, we know firsthand what diverse teams can do. We build pipelines that look like the future, not the past.

Relationships over transactions

We're building a firm clients call for the tenth hire, not just the first. That means playing the long game on every single search.

Women-owned business

A diverse supplier your procurement team will thank you for

Many companies have supplier diversity programs with real targets behind them. Partnering with Sigaram helps you meet those goals — while getting the same rigorous, technologist-led vetting we'd give any client. It's good business twice over.

Work with a team that's invested in your hire.

Start with a conversation — we'll take it from there.
